Medior System Engineer

Function

We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team, contributing to their dynamic infrastructure operations. This role involves a portion of remote work, but requires a minimum of four days per week on-site presence. Due to the site's limited public transport access, a valid driver's license and personal vehicle are necessary for travel. You may also occasionally need to visit other sites in the region.

Responsibilities

Your main duties will focus on managing and supporting various device environments, including physical PCs, virtual desktops, and mobile devices. Responsibilities include:

• Installation and configuration of Windows devices.
• Staging through Intune, Autopilot, and WhiteGlove for automated deployment and configuration.
• Packaging and deployment of simple Windows applications.
• Monitoring and tuning of devices for optimal performance.
• Documentation of operational and technical procedures for systems.
• Handling requests from business units and managing device lifecycle processes.
• Coordination with hardware and software suppliers for support tickets and technological monitoring.
• Administering and managing endpoints including PCs, VDI, and mobile devices.

The Ideal Candidate

We seek a detail-oriented, organized individual who can implement operational instructions effectively. Essential qualifications include:

• Proficiency in asset management, including tracking device lifecycle and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of MDM tools and experience managing Windows 10/11.
• Expertise in Microsoft Intune for enrollment and configuring devices via Windows Autopilot.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to enrollments and hardware incidents.
• Experience in monitoring and tuning Windows systems.
• Fluency in English and French.
