Mobile Automation Test Engineer

We're looking for a mobile test automation expert to join our client's dynamic team, where you will play an essential role in a transformative Agile environment. In this position, you'll help shape the future of digital solutions tailored for enterprise clients, working in a multi-disciplinary squad responsible for end-to-end product development. With a focus on delivering quality applications, you'll have the opportunity to work on both front-end mobile applications and back-end cloud systems.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring product and code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contributing to the creation of a feature test plan and defining test scope.
• Focusing on the automation of test cases to enhance efficiency.
• Sharing insights on test results and collaborating with your team effectively.
• Identifying, correcting bugs, and addressing any issues that arise.
• Utilizing your hands-on mobile testing experience for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Promoting scrum values such as involvement, focus, and openness while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in mobile test automation.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Sciences or IT, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium (Android/iOS), Selenium-Java, and BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Experience with creating comprehensive test plans, executing automated tests, and integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong familiarity with various technical skills, including Core Java, Git, Jenkins, and cloud platforms.
• Sound knowledge of software testing standards (ISTQB) is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
