.NET Analyst Developer
Function
We’re looking for a hybrid .NET Specialist / Technical Analyst to join our client’s team and play a key role in shaping modern, domain-driven solutions. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical analysis, translating architecture and business requirements into robust .NET solutions while helping teams adopt a more domain-focused way of working.
Responsibilities
- Translate architecture and domain models into detailed analyses, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, including bounded contexts, aggregate roots, aggregates, entities, value objects, and repositories.
- Bridge the gap between technical analysis and development, turning architectural decisions into actionable technical requirements.
- Design and implement clean, maintainable .NET components and APIs aligned with the domain model.
- Work with legacy technology specialists to understand existing system behaviour and assess the impact of new domain solutions.
- Deliver features end to end, including integration testing and coordination across modern and legacy environments.
- Contribute to the evolution toward DDD-oriented analysis and support colleagues through knowledge sharing and coaching.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, maintainability, and architectural consistency.
Technical Profile
- Strong professional experience with .NET development and technical analysis.
- Practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design in real-world projects.
- Solid understanding of API development and implementation.
- Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and basic understanding of event-driven concepts.
- Experience translating complex requirements and architectural decisions into clear technical specifications.
- Comfortable working with or alongside legacy systems, ideally including exposure to COBOL environments.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments and preferably within large, complex .NET projects.
- Experience with DDD coaching or knowledge sharing is a strong advantage.
- Interest in AI-augmented software delivery is a plus.
The Ideal Candidate
You combine a practical DDD mindset with strong analytical and development capabilities. You communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex environments. You can move seamlessly between analysis, architecture, and hands-on development while keeping delivery at the centre. Curiosity, pragmatism, and strong collaboration skills are essential. Fluent Dutch and English are required. This is a hybrid consulting opportunity.
