Core Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will hold a key position responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring network security measures essential for maintaining the integrity of the organizational infrastructure against various internal and external threats. Your role will involve collaborating closely with network architects, cybersecurity leaders, and the Network & Security Operations Centers (NOC/SOC) team to formulate comprehensive security strategies. Key tasks include:
- Developing and configuring network security protocols adhering to industry best practices.
- Monitoring network performance and security using tools like SIEM and IDS/IPS, executing audits, and providing comprehensive reporting.
- Diagnosing and resolving security incidents swiftly, while offering high-level technical support and guiding junior team members.
- Automating routine processes through scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to enhance workflow efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with extensive knowledge in network management, security protocols, and cloud security. Essential skills include:
- Expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS systems.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and an understanding of incident management practices.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and a demonstrated problem-solving aptitude.
- Willingness to engage continuously in professional development and earn relevant industry certifications.

Qualifications and Certifications
