Odoo Application Specialist

For a growing B2B group active in a high-tech and operationally critical environment, we are looking for an Odoo Application Specialist. The organization supports companies that develop, manufacture and deliver solutions for professional healthcare-related environments.

You will join a hands-on IT team that plays a key role in supporting business-critical applications across logistics, warehouse operations and production. The environment combines software, process optimization and technical equipment such as scanners, printers and warehouse-related systems.

Your role

As an IT Application Specialist, you will contribute to several ongoing software and application projects in close collaboration with your IT colleagues and the business.

A major focus will be the further rollout and support of the company’s ERP environment, currently based on Odoo, as well as the implementation and optimization of a new Warehouse Management System, Dynaman.

You will act as a bridge between IT, warehouse operations and production, making sure that applications are stable, secure and aligned with the needs of the business.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the ERP and WMS environment from both an IT and process perspective
• Assisting in the configuration, implementation and improvement of Odoo ERP and Dynaman WMS
• Providing hands-on support to warehouse and production teams
• Analysing issues, translating business needs into practical IT solutions and following up on changes
• Working with technical equipment such as scanners, printers and other warehouse-related devices
• Writing and using SQL queries for analysis, troubleshooting and reporting purposes
• Ensuring the stability, security and continuity of business-critical applications
• Reporting progress, issues and changes to the CIO

Your profile

You have a solid interest in business applications and enjoy working close to operational teams. You combine technical understanding with a strong sense of process, ownership and practical problem-solving.

You bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, or equivalent experience
• Strong Experience with Odoo ERP
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an application-focused IT role
• Experience in companies with logistics, warehouse or production activities is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of ERP systems and/or WMS applications (Dynaman)
• Experience with application configuration, process support and user support
• Good understanding of technical equipment such as scanners and printers
• Experience with SQL queries
• An analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• The ability to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with a good working knowledge of French
