Operations Technical Transition Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Technical Transition Manager to support our client during a large-scale renewal of managed services across infrastructure, cloud, and application domains. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless transition between providers while maintaining operational stability and aligning with a broader transformation roadmap.
The Role
You will lead and orchestrate the operational transition across multiple service domains, acting as the central coordination point between internal teams, external partners, and program leadership. Your focus will be on ensuring continuity, governance, and successful migration of services into a steady-state operational model.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate post-transition activities across multiple service towers, including cloud, on-premises infrastructure, network, monitoring, and application management
- Orchestrate migration efforts between teams, environments, and outsourcing partners, ensuring alignment with timelines and contractual commitments
- Establish and manage governance frameworks for transition and post-transition operations
- Act as the primary liaison between operational teams, transformation leadership, service owners, and external vendors
- Ensure service continuity by overseeing handovers, monitoring performance, and maintaining SLA compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and assess the impact of ongoing initiatives on the transition program
- Coordinate dependencies and sequencing across all technical domains to ensure smooth execution
- Align all activities with the broader transformation strategy, supporting new operating models, tools, and processes
- Provide regular reporting on progress, KPIs, risks, and milestones to key stakeholders
Profile & Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience in IT, including a strong background in operations, service management, and transition management within complex environments
- Proven track record in managing transitions between outsourcing providers
- Strong expertise in coordinating large-scale transformation or migration programs across multiple domains
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and partners
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, with experience managing complex workstreams and dependencies
- Fluent in English and proficient in both local languages, or willing to strengthen capabilities in a second language
- Available to work on-site regularly in a hybrid setup
