PHP developer

Your role

As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will play a key role within the development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software that is critical to the organization’s operations.

What will you do?

• Back-end development
  Build and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using modern technologies.
• Technical implementation
  Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Work with RESTful APIs, messaging systems, and hybrid/cloud environments.
• Collaboration
  Partner closely with product owners, designers, and QA engineers. Coordinate with external vendors for integrations.
• Co-creation & innovation
  Actively participate in workshops focused on APIs, integrations, and real-time data pipelines.
• Code reviews
  Help maintain high-quality standards by providing constructive feedback and sharing knowledge with the team.

Your profile

You are an experienced developer with a strong passion for technology and quality.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in back-end development
• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and TypeScript (Laravel experience is a plus)
• Experience with Git/GitLab and databases (PostgreSQL and other relational/non-relational systems)
• Solid understanding of Linux, security best practices, and API development
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
• A proactive mindset and strong team collaboration skills
