Function
Our client is looking for an experienced full-stack professional to contribute to a modernisation initiative focused on open architectures, data integration, and the gradual reduction of mainframe dependency. The assignment offers the opportunity to work on impactful applications and services that support advanced data usage, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities within a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications, APIs, and web services as part of a broader transformation programme.
- Analyse technical needs, design integration solutions, and build REST APIs and data exchange services to connect multiple applications.
- Contribute to the evolution of strategic applications and support the addition of new capabilities related to data analysis, AI, and intelligence-led operations.
- Develop application components using PHP and JavaScript.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and collaborate closely with development colleagues to deliver secure, high-performing, and interoperable solutions.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with REST APIs and web services.
- Solid background in software architecture and design principles/patterns.
- Hands-on development experience with PHP and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorisation standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT-based tokens.
- Experience with containerization.
- Practical DevOps exposure, including GitLab; MLOps knowledge is an asset.
- Strong understanding of application security and Security by Design principles.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of automated testing.

- Confirmed experience as a full-stack developer.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and quality-driven.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Self-learning mindset and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Practical Information
- Language requirements: French or Dutch, with passive understanding of the other language.
- English: active knowledge required.
