Portfolio Manager

Function

We are looking for a professional to join our client's team in guiding strategic portfolios related to IT projects and services. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing project management aligned with strategic goals and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

The successful individual will be responsible for:

• Managing the portfolio of IT projects, programs, and services in accordance with strategic initiatives like platform modernization and cybersecurity.
• Tracking demands, budgets, and risks in collaboration with business stakeholders and internal teams such as architects and project managers.
• Preparing and leading meetings for operational steering committees, providing data-driven recommendations on budget and risk assessments.
• Developing and maintaining consolidated dashboards to present the overall health of portfolios, including projects and incidents.
• Advising decision-making bodies through the preparation of strategic documents and monitoring post-validation actions.
• Analyzing budget variances and recommending corrective action plans to enhance operational efficiency.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Confirmed experience as a Portfolio Manager with strong project and change management skills.
• Good knowledge of public budget management principles.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, ITIL, and reporting fundamentals.
• Fluency in both French and English, with Dutch considered a plus.

Furthermore, it would be advantageous for candidates to have a certification in project, program, or portfolio management methodologies.
