Power BI / Analytics Consultant medior

Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, focused on long-term forecasting initiatives. The role requires expertise in structuring fragmented data, primarily sourced from Excel, into a powerful data model complemented by a comprehensive dashboard. You will blend strong data modeling abilities with complex business logic while delivering clear and visually appealing reporting, working independently and engaging directly with business stakeholders throughout various functions.

Responsibilities

• Transform fragmented data environments into structured information.
• Develop robust data models and prepare insightful dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data aligns with operational needs.
• Translate complex business logic into precise data frameworks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a BI Consultant, with a focus on data visualization (minimum 3 years).
• Experience working autonomously and engaging directly with business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability in Data Management and ETL processes.
• Strong background in using Databricks for data integration and transformations.
• Proficiency in Power BI (dashboarding and semantic models).
• Fluent in both English and Dutch, with Dutch proficiency at EU CEFR level C2.

Additional Skills

• Experience within Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data vault modeling, DAX code, Python, SQL, and reporting tools.
• Awareness of the utility sector and ongoing transformation trends in the industry.
