Product Owner

Function

We’re looking for an Agile Product Owner consultant to join our client’s team, playing a central role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital products within a collaborative Scrum environment. You will act as the voice of the customer and key stakeholders, ensuring that product vision and priorities are clearly defined and consistently translated into tangible outcomes for the development team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and overall strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Translate high-level objectives into clear functional specifications and user stories following Agile principles
• Build, maintain, and continuously prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value and stakeholder input
• Ensure the development team fully understands the product scope, priorities, and expected outcomes
• Act as the key decision-maker for product-related topics, including arbitration on delivered functionalities
• Align stakeholders and maintain a shared understanding of the product direction and deliverables

Delivery & Agile Ways of Working

• Lead iteration planning and define sprint priorities to ensure consistent and valuable delivery
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and demos
• Monitor progress, adjust priorities when needed, and ensure product consistency and quality throughout delivery
• Foster a strong Agile mindset within the team, promoting collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement
• Contribute beyond your core role when needed, supporting cross-functional teamwork to achieve sprint goals

Profile & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a PSPO certification considered a strong asset
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and product management practices
• Experience in project and budget management
• Strategic thinker with the ability to maintain a big-picture (helicopter) view while managing details
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a structured and quality-driven approach
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills
• Leadership mindset with a proactive, goal-oriented, and adaptable attitude
• Experience in the automotive or mobility sector is considered a plus

Languages & Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and French
• Good knowledge of English
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders
• Team-oriented mindset, open to change, and driven by delivering value collectively
