About the Role
Our client is a large public-oriented organization undergoing a major digital transformation. Within one of its key business units, teams are responsible for building and supporting applications that enable field operations and improve efficiency for on-the-ground staff.
You will be working on a mobile platform used by field teams to perform a wide range of operational tasks via smartphones and tablets. This platform includes multiple modules and is continuously evolving with new features and integrations.
Project Context
The mobile solution allows users to work remotely while staying fully connected to central systems. Functionalities range from communication between colleagues to advanced data lookups, incident tracking, and operational coordination tools.
Although the application is developed with external partners, the internal team retains ownership, roadmap definition, and overall responsibility. New modules and improvements are delivered on a regular basis.
Your Responsibilities
As Product Owner:
- Act as the main point of contact for end users
- Build strong knowledge of the product from both business and functional perspectives
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business needs
- Collaborate closely with external development partners
- Report progress and updates to program leadership
As Business Analyst:
- Contribute to business and functional analysis of new features
- Model current and future processes (e.g. BPMN)
- Identify impacts (legal, security, operational, etc.)
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Coordinate with internal and external partners involved in development
Change & Adoption:
- Support end users in adopting new tools and features
- Deliver or contribute to training sessions and documentation
- Communicate updates, changes, and known issues
- Provide second-line support when needed

Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner
- Knowledge of business process modeling
- Familiarity with change management practices
- Experience in complex or public-sector environments is a plus
Languages
- English: professional level
- French and/or Dutch: good working knowledge
Practical Information
- Full-time role
- Hybrid working model (minimum 2 days on-site in Brussels area)
