We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our client's team and contribute to the analysis, documentation, and optimization of an existing calculation tool used in an insurance-related environment. In this role, you'll help clarify complex calculation logic, understand how input data is prepared and processed, and identify opportunities to streamline or automate existing workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical skills with technical expertise and a structured approach to documentation and process improvement.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze an existing end-user computing tool used for experience rating and related calculations.
• Map and document the processes involved in preparing and generating the input data files required by the tool.
• Create and maintain clear functional and technical documentation covering calculation logic, data flows, and changes to pricing, costs, and other calculation inputs.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, or automate data preparation and processing activities.
• Implement selected improvements where agreed within the scope of the assignment.
• Ensure that calculation processes and supporting documentation remain accurate, consistent, and easy to understand.

Your Profile & Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAS, particularly in analyzing and documenting existing programs and data-processing workflows.
• Experience with experience rating and international pooling is required.
• A background in the insurance or financial services sector is required.
• Experience in insurance, preferably in Group Life and/or Collective Health Care, is a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Teams and Office applications.
• Experience documenting data flows, calculation methods, and business processes.
• A Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
