Program Manager
Function
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our client's transformation office and play a key role in a high-profile organizational and digital transformation initiative. Operating within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, you will be responsible for coordinating a large-scale integration program involving multiple organizations, systems, and operational teams. This strategic assignment requires strong leadership, governance expertise, and the ability to drive alignment across business and technology stakeholders while ensuring delivery against ambitious timelines.
As the central point of coordination, you will oversee planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful implementation of the transformation roadmap. You will work closely with leadership teams, operational units, and IT departments to manage dependencies, anticipate challenges, and facilitate informed decision-making throughout the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall program roadmap, ensuring clear visibility of milestones, deliverables, and critical deadlines
- Lead program planning and execution to ensure successful delivery of a complex integration and transformation initiative
- Prioritize activities and coordinate implementation schedules while considering the impact on interconnected systems and operational processes
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, including delays, resource constraints, budgetary challenges, and operational impacts
- Manage dependencies across multiple teams, stakeholders, and workstreams to prevent bottlenecks and ensure smooth execution
- Establish effective governance structures and provide regular progress reporting to executive stakeholders
- Coordinate closely with business, operational, and technology teams to align objectives and delivery plans
- Anticipate alternative scenarios and support strategic decision-making based on evolving program requirements
The Ideal Candidate
You are a seasoned Program Manager with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation, integration, or organizational change initiatives. You are comfortable operating in highly complex environments with multiple stakeholders and possess the leadership skills required to drive consensus and deliver results.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Extensive experience managing complex transformation or integration programs
- Strong expertise in program governance, roadmap development, and strategic planning
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience in risk management, dependency management, and operational prioritization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment at all levels
- Experience working in large, regulated, or public-sector environments is considered a strong asset
Language Requirements
- Fluent Dutch and French (written and spoken)
- Strong professional communication skills with executive and operational stakeholders
