Program Manager

We're looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our client's transformation office and play a key role in a large-scale digital and organizational transformation program. Working closely with senior technology leadership, you will contribute to the modernization of critical business processes, the optimization of complex IT environments, and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that impact hundreds of end users.

This assignment offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact programs, restore control over complex initiatives, and establish robust governance frameworks in a fast-paced environment undergoing significant change.

Role & Responsibilities

As Program Manager, your primary objective will be to structure, secure, and recover strategic IT programs while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and managing program roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and governance frameworks.
• Conducting in-depth assessments of existing programs, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Leading recovery initiatives for complex or underperforming programs by restoring realistic planning, budget control, and delivery management.
• Establishing clear reporting mechanisms, performance indicators, and decision-making processes.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across technology, business, architecture, security, PMO, and external partners.
• Managing relationships with suppliers and system integrators, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and delivery expectations.
• Monitoring financial performance, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to funding and investment strategies.
• Supporting executive stakeholders by preparing strategic recommendations and facilitating key governance decisions.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic vision with hands-on experience in managing large-scale transformation programs within complex environments. You bring:

• Extensive experience as a Program Manager in large and complex IT organizations.
• Proven expertise in managing complex IT ecosystems, including architecture, systems integration, and data management.
• Solid experience delivering enterprise-wide solutions, such as CRM or ERP platforms, to several hundred users.
• Strong capabilities in program governance, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis management, program recovery, and organizational transformation.
• Excellent leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and change management skills.
• Fluency in both French and Dutch.
• Previous experience working within the public sector.
