Project Manager
Function
We're looking for a Project Manager to join our client's team to oversee initiatives aimed at optimizing passenger information solutions across multiple channels, including real-time station and online tools. This role provides the opportunity to lead complex IT projects, manage international stakeholders, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the passenger experience.
Role & Responsibilities
The consultant will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle and work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery:

Document business processes, requirements, use cases, defects, functional diagrams, and architectural principles.

Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments for proposed solutions.

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project status updates, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Collaborate with developers, testers, and other project managers to validate functional specifications and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.

Assist in test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect management.

Manage project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and follow up on incidents.

Oversee planning, milestones, and resource allocation.

Communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and propose practical solutions to project challenges.
Profile / Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a Project Manager and IT Analyst, ideally with international exposure and collaboration with diverse teams:

15+ years of combined project management and IT analysis experience.

Proven experience working with foreign suppliers and international collaborators.

Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and evaluating RFP documentation is a plus.

Skilled in end-to-end project lifecycle management (requirements gathering, deployment, post-implementation support).

Solid IT background with functional specifications, business process analysis, UAT support, SQL/database knowledge, and familiarity with programming languages (preferably .NET).

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience managing meetings and stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.

Trilingual proficiency in English (C1), French (B2), and Dutch (B2).

Certified Prince2 Foundation with proven project follow-up experience.

Knowledge of SAFe or other Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in project tracking and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, SharePoint).

Willingness to work on-site at the client’s location on specific days as required.

Experience in public transport or passenger information systems is highly desirable.
