Project Manager

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, where innovation meets operational excellence. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting initiatives within an IT Production setting, ensuring seamless collaboration between business stakeholders and IT suppliers while delivering optimal solutions.

Responsibilities and Role

The consultant will take on several key responsibilities, including:

• Acting as the Initiative Owner for IT production initiatives.
• Supporting the (business) Initiative Owner in delivering the initiative, managing conflicts regarding prioritization, budget, value for money, and scope.
• Monitoring and controlling the progress of feature delivery related to the initiative to ensure expected results are achieved.
• Collecting status information from Feature Delivery Owners and managing various stakeholders effectively.
• Organizing the necessary ceremonies, identifying and logging impediments at different levels, and facilitating their resolution.
• Creating a safe environment for discussions, decisions, and conflict resolution to encourage open expression among team members.
• Facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders, protecting the team from unexpected workloads, and aligning with management.
• Contributing to initiatives like the Scrum of Scrum and Quarterly Agile Planning.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Master's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in a similar function.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience specifically related to project management in IT, complemented by at least 10 years of professional experience overall.
• Strong understanding of technical and complex infrastructure architecture, along with experience in infrastructure migration projects being a notable plus.
• Proficiency in the banking sector and adept in Agile methodologies.
