Project Manager

Function

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client's Data & Analytics organisation. In this strategic role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics initiatives across multiple business domains. You will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of new reporting solutions, platform enhancements, migration programmes and data-driven transformation projects, with a particular focus on ESG and CSRD reporting requirements. Acting as the key link between business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Data & Analytics and Business Intelligence projects from initiation through delivery and adoption.
• Lead projects involving KPI reporting platforms, data solutions, reporting environments and analytics capabilities.
• Drive ESG and CSRD reporting initiatives while supporting broader organisational reporting and performance management requirements.
• Coordinate business, technology and vendor stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Define project scope, planning, budgets, risks, governance structures and delivery roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain project artefacts, including:
  • Project charters
  • Project plans
  • Migration plans
  • Roadmaps
  • Governance documents
  • Status reporting
• Collaborate closely with Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, BI Development and business teams.
• Oversee migration and modernisation initiatives within data and reporting platforms.
• Ensure alignment with architectural principles, best practices, standards and long-term data strategy.
• Facilitate decision-making, stakeholder communication and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote continuous improvement across project delivery methodologies, processes and governance.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Project Management role with demonstrable hands-on delivery responsibility.
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence or reporting-related projects.
• Proven expertise in:
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of data platforms, reporting architectures and analytics ecosystems.
• Experience managing migration programmes and complex transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with ESG and CSRD reporting projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including process analysis, reporting analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience documenting architecture, governance frameworks, best practices, guidelines, migration strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to build consensus across business and technical teams.
• Strong solution-delivery mindset, with ownership of end-to-end outcomes and a pragmatic approach to project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience working with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with project collaboration and delivery tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English:
  • Dutch or French at native or C-level proficiency, with the second national language at minimum B2 level.
  • English at C-level proficiency.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Willingness to work predominantly on-site at the client's location, depending on project requirements.
