Project Manager Data & Analytics

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s Data & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of delivering impactful data initiatives — from platform and data asset development to analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects that enable smarter, data-informed decisions across the organization.

Role & Responsibilities

As Project Manager within the Data & Analytics team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring that each initiative is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading project delivery from initiation to completion

• Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals

• Developing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and communication materials

• Preparing and managing budget proposals and recommending adjustments where required

• Coordinating with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project

• Managing project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans, and reporting to relevant stakeholders

• Facilitating SteerCo and project update meetings to ensure progress and alignment

• Ensuring quality assurance and proper documentation throughout all phases

• Delivering projects in the Data & Analytics domain (data platforms, data ingestion, reporting, data science, AI/ML, and data exploration)

A background in Azure data services, SAP, or BW/4HANA is an advantage, as is experience with processes related to transport, operations, HR, finance, or marketing domains.

Profile

You are a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for data, analytics, and technology. You combine strong leadership with excellent communication and organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple stakeholders and complex dependencies effectively.

Required qualifications and experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in IT project management, including 10 years delivering Data & Analytics projects

• Proven track record managing full-cycle projects involving both SAP and Azure data or analytics platforms

• Experience managing budgets exceeding €1 million

• Active Project Management certification (PM² and/or PMBOK)

• Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies

• ITIL knowledge and experience applying ITIL processes in project environments

• Excellent communication and presentation skills across different organizational levels

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written); at least C level in one national language, B2 in the others

• Ability to be on-site at the client’s offices at least two days per week
