Project Manager SAP
Function
We're looking for a consultant to support our client's team in managing a large-scale business transformation initiative. The role focuses on coordinating the delivery of business and customs-related activities within an ERP implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems towards an integrated SAP landscape.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to keep the project on track, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
As PM, you will be responsible for:
- Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, including resource allocation and risk mitigation actions.
- Ensuring compliance with project governance, reporting structures, and delivery standards.
- Acting as the central point of contact for business administration and customs-related topics.
- Facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders to validate requirements and align solutions.
- Monitoring progress, budget, risks, and issues while defining corrective actions where required.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring collaboration between business, IT, and implementation partners.
- Reviewing project plans, resource needs, and delivery approaches to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Supporting testing, validation activities, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management within complex ERP environments and brings experience with business processes and customs-related domains.
You have:
- Proven experience managing business administration and/or customs projects within large-scale ERP implementations.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and preferably SAP GTS environments.
- Understanding of customs processes and related business requirements.
- Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, and resource coordination.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, hybrid environments, and integration frameworks.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are considered an asset.
