Function
We’re looking for a QA Manager to join our client’s team and play a key role in ensuring product and process quality across both hardware and software development initiatives. You will act as a quality gatekeeper within new product introduction (NPI) projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as Quality representative in NPI projects and participate in stage gate review meetings
- Serve as the final quality gatekeeper, ensuring compliance before product release
- Report on product and process performance, including deviations, KPIs, and improvement needs
- Take ownership of quality-related decisions such as:
- Releasing or blocking production/delivery
- Managing non-conforming products
- Approving Certificates of Conformity (CoC) and derogations
- Align quality activities with broader organizational quality objectives and plans
Tasks & Collaboration
- Coordinate customer escalations and lead quality assurance meetings with stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions (CAPA), with a focus on product-related issues
- Collaborate within Agile software environments:
- Work closely with Product Owners during roadmap and sprint planning
- Participate in sprint reviews to identify risks, issues, and opportunities
- Support software release decisions by ensuring proper validation and verification activities are completed
Profile & Skills
- Strong experience in quality assurance within product development environments (hardware and/or software)
- Familiarity with NPI processes and quality gate methodologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum ways of working
- Ability to lead discussions, challenge stakeholders, and drive improvements
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality metrics and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
