Report Creator - Webfocus

Function

We are looking for a WebFOCUS Report creator to take the lead in creating new reports and maintaining existing reports within WebFOCUS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into insightful reports using WebFOCUS and SQL. This role requires technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to work effectively within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of reports in WebFOCUS.
• Utilize WebFOCUS to interact with an existing data abstraction layer that connects to SQL databases.
• Write SQL statements via WebFOCUS to extract and manipulate data from Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Analyze Requests for Change (RFCs) and translate business needs into clear and effective reports.
• Work with custom WebFOCUS code to ensure accurate data visualization and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with WebFOCUS and report development.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to understand and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL Server databases.
• Prior experience working with custom WebFOCUS code is a plus.

Who You Are:

• A mature professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in French/ Dutch, English is preferable.
