Risk & Compliance Consultant

We're looking for a professional to join our client's team, focusing on the critical area of compliance and anti-money laundering analysis. This role involves close collaboration with legal and compliance teams to ensure the highest standards are met in accordance with established procedures and legal obligations.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the thorough analysis of cases and transactions that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing activity. Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating unusual transaction reports to determine if further investigation is necessary, in consultation with legal and compliance teams.
• Applying the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Transaction (KYT) principles effectively.
• Conducting weekly analyses of alerts generated by an external monitoring tool.
• Identifying AML red flags through various legal documents.
• Preparing notifications for relevant authorities.
• Closely analyzing incoming and outgoing premium payments from clients.
• Adhering to strict procedural frameworks within established deadlines.
