We’re looking for a Salesforce Functional Analyst to join the team of our client, a well-established organization where business transformation and digital platforms play a key role. In this position, you will work at the intersection of business and IT, contributing to the design and delivery of solutions built on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into clear functional specifications and valuable digital solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Functional Analyst, you will play a central role in bridging business requirements with application delivery:

• Act as the link between business demand and IT delivery, translating requirements into clear functional analyses.

• Work closely with product owners, domain architects, and project teams to understand business processes and convert them into functional Salesforce components.

• Translate features into structured user stories through story mapping, ensuring clarity and traceability.

• Elaborate and refine functional requirements iteratively, providing well-documented and structured user stories.

• Support the development of solutions within Salesforce Sales Clous and Service Cloud.

• Contribute to the design of customer and partner solutions, with Experience Cloud considered a strong asset.

• Analyze and define integrations between Salesforce and other systems, working with architects and development teams to clarify integration requirements.

• Participate in an Agile environment, typically preparing analysis work one sprint ahead of development teams.

• Validate delivered functionalities through testing and verification activities.

• Collaborate intensively with a multidisciplinary project team including product owners, project managers, scrum masters, architects, developers and UX designers.

Key Tasks

Within the broader analysis team, you will help structure and guide solution development:

• Gather and document business requirements and processes.

• Produce functional documentation using techniques such as user story mapping, UML, BPMN, and domain modeling.

• Maintain clear communication between technical and business stakeholders.

• Ensure that functional requirements are practical, structured, and aligned with business value.

• Support continuous improvement of Salesforce-based solutions and related integrations.

Profile – The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for a consultant with strong analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset:

• Experience as a Functional Analyst working with Salesforce, particularly:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud

  • Salesforce Service Cloud

• Experience with Experience Cloud (customer or partner portals) is a plus.

• Knowledge of integrations between salesforce and other applications (APIs, middleware, data exchange) is considered an advantage.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work detail-oriented while remaining pragmatic.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both business and technical teams.

• A proactive, hands-on mindset with strong team collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and organize work effectively.

Language requirements: English and Dutch.
