Function

We’re looking for a senior SAP Architect/Consultant to join our client’s transformation journey and play a key role in shaping a next-generation supply chain planning landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT, driving a greenfield mindset where possible while ensuring pragmatic alignment with real-world operational needs.

Role and responsibilities

  • Architect and steer an end-to-end SAP IBP implementation, integrating demand and planning signals from SAP EAM, PS and PP and translating our client’s future supply chain vision into a robust solution design.

  • Guide stakeholders toward best-in-class SCM practices, including S&OP and S&OE, and balance standard SAP IBP best practices with specific business requirements.

  • Lead and support the design of meaningful “show & tell” sessions based on concrete business scenarios to foster adoption and clarity.

  • Collaborate closely with integrators and mixed onshore/offshore delivery teams to ensure coherent, high-quality implementation outcomes.

Delivery setup

  • Hybrid working model: approximately 2 days per week onsite with flexibility for remote work the remaining days.

  • Proven experience leading the architecture of at least one full SAP IBP implementation cycle.

Profile

  • At least 10 years of experience with planning processes in large organizations, including S&OP.

  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP APO and MRP.

  • Strong functional understanding of maintenance and refurbishment planning processes.

  • Fluency in English (C1 level), with French and/or Dutch at C1 level as a strong asset.

The ideal candidate

  • Deep expertise in SAP IBP and SAP IBP for MRO.

  • Solid experience with SAP PP, PM and PS.

  • Experience extending SAP IBP via SAP BTP.

  • Familiarity with complex asset-intensive or railway-like maintenance environments is a plus.
