SAP CDC Functional Lead

Function

We’re looking for an experienced SAP CDC Functional Lead to join our client’s team and play a key role in further developing and optimizing its customer identity and profile capabilities. You’ll work across both B2C and B2B environments, translating business needs into functional solutions and taking a hands-on role in their implementation. As SAP CDC is closely integrated with a broader SAP and non-SAP landscape, you’ll collaborate extensively with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and integration specialists to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional engagements and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and technical implementations.
• Drive hands-on implementation and continuous improvement of SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) capabilities.
• Work on B2C and B2B Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions, including:
  • Identity Query Tool and User Management
  • Screensets and UI Builder
  • APIs and Sites
  • Organization Workspace settings, including delegated user administration, organization/member attributes, and approval workflows
  • Authorizations and master data management
• Define and maintain integrations between SAP CDC and SAP and non-SAP applications, including interfaces built through SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and integration teams to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and remain operationally robust.
• Contribute to governance, risk management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Support related initiatives that introduce new requirements for SAP CDC and customer profile management.

Profile

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP CDC experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP CRM experience; SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distinguish key issues from secondary concerns and drive solutions efficiently.
• Proven experience with SAP CDC topics and capabilities, particularly CIAM, user and organization management, authorizations, master data, and integrations.
• Experience with GDPR processes in SAP, including SAP CDC, is a plus.
• Experience integrating SAP CDC with the Adobe platform is an advantage; deep Adobe expertise is not required.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Agile ways of working is beneficial.
• Experience in the railway or transport sector is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, at minimum CEFR C1 level.
• Available to work onsite at least one week per month.
• A collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working independently and taking ownership of complex topics.
