SAP HCM & Time Expert

Function

We’re currently looking for a Senior SAP HCM & Time Expert with strong Quinyx expertise to support our client’s HR technology landscape within a large and complex enterprise environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, optimization, and continuous improvement of time management and payroll-related HR applications. The consultant will act as a key contributor across functional support, integrations, change management, and application enhancement initiatives within a highly integrated SAP ecosystem.

The Role

As part of the HR functional support organization, you will take end-to-end ownership of incidents, change requests, small projects, and operational improvements related to SAP HCM Time & Payroll processes. You will collaborate closely with HR process owners, key users, and IT stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and smooth operation of critical HR applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting SAP HCM Time Management processes, including Negative, Positive, and Quota calculations
• Supporting Time Registration solutions through SAP HR, SAP Portal, HR Kiosk, Webdynpro, FIORI, and mobile applications
• Maintaining and optimizing Quinyx Workforce Management, Planning & Scheduling solutions integrated with SAP Time Management
• Supporting payroll-related processes and payroll posting activities within SAP HR
• Performing functional analysis, issue diagnosis, solution design, and SAP HR customizing activities
• Coordinating change requests, bug fixes, releases, testing cycles, quality assurance, communication, and user adoption activities
• Managing integrations between SAP HCM and third-party or operational planning applications through APIs, SAP PI, ESB, SAP Idocs, and SAP BTP
• Troubleshooting complex technical and functional issues across integrated HR environments
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives related to support processes, documentation, training, and application performance
• Independently leading smaller projects and enhancement initiatives

Ideal Candidate

Our client is seeking a highly experienced SAP HCM professional with deep expertise in Time Management environments and proven experience in large-scale enterprise organizations. You combine strong technical capabilities with excellent functional analysis and stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate brings:

• More than 10 years of experience as an SAP Time Specialist within large enterprise environments (+10,000 employees)
• Extensive hands-on expertise in SAP HR modules including:
  • SAP PA/OM
  • SAP Time Management (Negative, Positive & Quota Management)
  • SAP Time Registration
  • SAP Payroll (high-level payroll expertise and posting knowledge)
• Proven experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting Quinyx integrated with SAP Time Management
• Strong experience customizing SAP FIORI applications for HCM, ESS, and MSS solutions
• Solid expertise with integrations involving APIs, SAP PI, SAP Idocs, ESB, and SAP BTP
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working in functional support and change management environments
• Fluency in English (minimum B2) and Dutch or French (one language at C2 level, the other minimum B2)
