SAP Integration & S/4HANA EWM SCM Project Manager

Function

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Project Manager to join our client’s team and play a key role in a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. In this role, you’ll oversee critical supply chain and system integration activities, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and an external implementation partner to ensure successful project delivery. Your focus will be on managing the transition between legacy SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, coordinating integrations, and supporting the rollout of warehouse management capabilities across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from initiation through implementation and go-live, ensuring alignment with business objectives, agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, project plans, and communication strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with business representatives, IT teams, project leadership, and the system integration partner to ensure deliverables are achieved.
• Manage SAP ECC to S/4HANA integration activities, including SAP S/4HANA Stockroom Management, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), radio-frequency (RF) solutions, and integration with SAP Transportation Management (TM).
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, implement mitigation plans, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and track project activities using tools such as Jira, Confluence, ARIS BPMN, and Microsoft 365.
• Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and contribute to effective change management using SAP Activate and ADKAR methodologies.
• Build strong working relationships across business and technical teams, influencing stakeholders and facilitating collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Profile

• At least 10 years of relevant SAP project management experience, including a minimum of 8 years in SAP supply chain and warehouse management projects.
• Demonstrable experience managing system integration between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA EWM/SCM at a functional level.
• Participation in at least two full lifecycle SAP SCM implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Stockroom Management, SAP EWM, and ECC-to-S/4HANA integration.
• Experience with warehouse mobility solutions and mobile devices; knowledge of Kardex tower integrations is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with integration involving SAP PM, PP, and PS, ideally within a rail, transport, or mobility environment.
• Knowledge of IT service and management frameworks, including ITIL and IT4IT.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, ARIS BPMN, and Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience as an SAP SCM consultant is an advantage, alongside practical knowledge of SAP Activate and ADKAR change management methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across business teams, IT departments, and implementation partners.

Languages & Practical Information

You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English, with C-level proficiency in either Dutch or French and at least B2 proficiency in the other languages. The assignment requires a strong on-site presence at our client’s offices, potentially up to five days per week, depending on project needs. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment and taking ownership of complex SAP integration activities.
