SAP Master Data Migration Specialist

Function

We're looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Migration Specialist to join our client's team and play a key role in the successful delivery of SAP transformation and data migration initiatives. You will coordinate SAP data migration activities across multiple solutions and act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, functional consultants, and technical migration teams. Your focus will be on ensuring that data is accurate, complete, compliant, and ready to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end SAP data migration activities, including planning, mapping, transformation, mock loads, validation, cutover, and go-live support.

• Coordinate virtual functional teams involved in data migration and master data management.

• Act as a key point of contact for enterprise-wide Data Management processes and frameworks, ensuring they are consistently applied throughout SAP transformation initiatives.

• Take ownership of assigned functional and technical support requests, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design.

• Define and validate mapping specifications, transformation rules, and data migration requirements.

• Facilitate workshops with business users, data owners, functional experts, and technical teams.

• Ensure data quality through consolidation, mass processing, duplicate identification and cleansing, and validation activities.

• Support GDPR-related data processes and compliance requirements within SAP.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA Business Partners and Material Master, including:

• Customer and vendor master data processes for B2B and B2C environments.

• Business Partner setup and migration throughout a complete project lifecycle.

• Material Master migration and data management.

• Business Partner integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Customer-Vendor Integration (CVI).

• Migration of Business Partner and Material Master data from SAP ECC or SAP CRM to SAP S/4HANA.

• External identifiers and their use in functional processes such as sales and service.

• GDPR processes and data compliance in SAP.

• ETL processes and data transformation.

• Data quality management, including consolidation, mass processing, duplicate detection, and cleansing.

• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.

Profile

• Proven experience participating in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation.

• Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end SAP data migration cycles, including mock migrations and go-live support.

• Strong ability to translate technical migration concepts into clear, business-friendly language.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to connect business and technical teams.

• Fluent written and spoken Dutch, French, and English. Dutch or French at C1 level, the other at least B2, and English at C1 level.

• Willingness to work on-site at our client's premises as required by the assignment, with the frequency potentially varying throughout the project.
