SAP Project Manager
Function
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s organization and lead medium-scale SAP projects from initiation through to completion. In this role, you will ensure that projects are delivered according to defined objectives, scope, timeline, and quality standards. You will also contribute to strengthening the effectiveness and maturity of the Project Management Office by applying best-practice methodologies and supporting internal PMO initiatives when required.
Role
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of SAP-related projects and ensure successful delivery across the entire project lifecycle. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into structured project plans and guide project teams toward successful outcomes.
Your responsibilities include:

Planning, executing, and controlling projects end-to-end within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality criteria

Defining the project structure, governance, approach, and detailed planning

Supporting stakeholders in refining and clarifying business requirements

Managing risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes while implementing appropriate mitigation strategies

Monitoring project progress and ensuring accurate reporting to sponsors and stakeholders

Ensuring quality standards are applied consistently throughout the project lifecycle
Stakeholder Management & Communication
You will play a central role in coordinating stakeholders and project teams while ensuring clear communication across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:

Facilitating collaboration across departments and coordinating project workstreams

Leading project meetings, follow-ups, and decision-making processes

Communicating complex information in a structured and accessible way to different stakeholder groups, including senior management

Producing structured reporting such as status updates, dashboards, and steering documentation

Escalating risks or issues proactively and ensuring stakeholders remain informed of key developments
Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with a structured approach, strong leadership skills, and experience delivering SAP-related initiatives in complex environments.
Required skills and experience:

5 to 10 years of project management experience, preferably within a structured PMO environment

Proven experience leading SAP projects, ideally within Finance or Insurance domains

Experience with tools such as MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira or similar project planning tools

Strong knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Experience with Confluence and Jira is considered an advantage

Familiarity with reporting or data visualisation tools such as Power BI is a plus

Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive progress with limited supervision

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
Certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI CAPM/PMP, or Change Management certifications (PROSCI or ADKAR) are considered strong assets. The role requires a collaborative professional who can navigate ambiguity, manage stakeholder expectations, and lead cross-functional teams in a hybrid working environment with occasional travel when required.
