SAP S/4 HANA Technical Quality Assurance Expert

Function

We’re looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Quality Assurance Expert to join our client’s team and play a key role in ensuring the technical quality, performance, security, and reliability of SAP solutions. You will act as the link between functional requirements and technical implementation, contributing to solution design, development quality, data integrity, and the continuous improvement of a complex SAP landscape.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design, development, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA solutions in line with business and functional requirements.
• Perform technical quality reviews covering custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows, and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, architecture guidelines, security requirements, performance expectations, and maintainability principles.
• Support data modelling, migration, validation, consistency checks, and data quality activities in line with data governance principles.
• Assess the technical feasibility and impact of functional changes and work closely with functional, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure technical changes are properly documented, traceable, and compliant with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
• Share expertise and best practices with colleagues and contribute to a strong technical quality culture.

Profile

• At least 5 years of relevant SAP project experience, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong expertise in SAP UI5/Fiori and advanced ABAP Object-Oriented development, with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Solid S/4HANA experience, including CDS Views, OData Services, and RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP).
• Hands-on experience with ADT/Eclipse and the ABAP development environment.
• Experience with SAP data services and integrations, including web services and data exchange formats/protocols such as SOAP, XML, JSON, and REST.
• Good knowledge of ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects (OO), Workflow, IDoc, ALV Grid, and ABAP Web Dynpro.
• Strong understanding of reusable, scalable, secure, and maintainable coding practices.
• Ability to analyse functional requirements and translate them into robust SAP technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of at least one SAP business process and the ability to connect technical quality assurance with operational requirements.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, with a good command of English.
• Available to work onsite in Brussels at least 2 days per week.
