SAP Specialist MRP

Function

We're looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning Consultant to join our client's team and contribute to a consulting assignment within a complex manufacturing and supply chain environment. You'll play an important role in supporting and optimising production planning processes, with a particular focus on SAP PP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and end-to-end implementation activities across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP Production Planning (PP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities throughout the assignment.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of planning processes in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, including MRP Live.
• Work with Production Supply Areas, Control Cycles and material staging processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Support procurement configuration, planning strategies and production master data requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between different SAP modules and related planning processes.

The ideal candidate

• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning and supply chain processes.
• Proven experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA MRP implementations, including MRP Live, with at least three completed implementations.
• Strong knowledge of MRP Areas, procurement and special procurement types, planning strategies and PIR consumption logic.
• Practical experience with Production Supply Areas, Control Cycles and material staging.
• Strong integration knowledge across SAP PP, MM-PM/EAM, WM and PS/Networks.
• Solid understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, production versions, Work Centre settings and capacity planning.
• Valid SAP PP module certification.
• A structured, hands-on approach and the ability to translate complex manufacturing and planning requirements into effective SAP solutions.
