Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's dynamic team, serving as an essential agile facilitator within a project squad. In this role, you will be the key reference point for Agile methodologies, specifically the Scrum framework, ensuring the team's comprehensive understanding and application while maximizing outcomes and safeguarding the squad from external disruptions.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
• Scheduling and ensuring adherence to key methodology practices.
• Assisting the Scrum Team in managing the Product Backlog and supporting the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD) and Sprint Backlog.
• Tracking team capacity and velocity metrics for improved planning and progress tracking.
• Ensuring consistency of the backlog within the project management tool.

Role and Tasks

You will help the team address difficulties while encouraging a self-organized approach. Your focus will be on:

• Removing barriers to team effectiveness and defending the team from distractions.
• Managing risks and issues effectively.
• Fostering a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, where all members contribute beyond their primary roles to achieve sprint goals.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with an expertise in agile methodologies and practices.
• Proven technical knowledge of agile reporting tools (e.g., Jira) and familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration tooling.
• A strong background in software development and project management methodologies.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
• Certification as a Scrum Master.
