Scrum master
Function
We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team as a key player within a cluster focused on Cash and Cards management. This position requires a dynamic individual ready to bridge communication and coordination among various stakeholders, while driving initiatives that enhance the customer experience with banking services.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Cluster Product Owner and six squads within the cluster, ensuring the following:
- Drive and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of features and initiatives, overseeing development, testing, release, and post-implementation support.
- Facilitate cluster refinement and maintain the delivery roadmap, while ensuring recurrent alignment with architecture.
- Resolve impediments at the cluster level and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and contributors.
- Encourage autonomy among squad scrum masters and contribute to ongoing cluster and tribe improvement.
- Act as a representative for the cluster alongside the Cluster Product Owner.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related experience, and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Key characteristics include:
- Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between business and IT easily.
- Strong knowledge of the cluster’s products/assets (Cash, Cards) to effectively support squads.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and a proactive approach to collaboration.
Skills and Language Requirements
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex conflicts among stakeholders are essential. The successful candidate will also need to maintain a broad perspective to identify and address intertribe dependencies effectively. Language proficiency requirements include:
- Fluency in English and Dutch, with active knowledge of at least one local language and passive knowledge of another (French preferred).
