Function
We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies. This position requires a talent for fostering collaboration among diverse team members while guiding them through the important dynamics of agile project management.
Responsibilities
As part of your role, you'll be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the smooth application of Scrum practices within the project team. You'll work closely with the team to:
- Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
- Schedule and monitor key steps of the Agile methodology.
- Provide assistance and support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog.
- Help the team face obstacles and achieve their Definition of Done (DoD).
- Track squad capacity and velocity metrics for effective planning and progress monitoring.
Role Overview
This role requires a deep understanding of Agile practices, where you will serve not just as a guide but also as a servant-leader for the squad. You'll define strategies and facilitate communication to enhance focus, enabling the squad to maximize value. Moreover, continuous improvement is essential, demanding an attentive eye for identifying obstacles and implementing solutions.
- Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with third-party providers as needed.
- Act as a sponsor for continuous improvement within the squad.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of relevant experience in a similar role, combined with a solid grasp of software and project management methodologies. Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in Agile reporting and follow-up tools.
- Experience in the Payments domain is advantageous.
- A strong understanding of automated testing and continuous integration tools.
Additionally, excellent soft skills are essential, including the ability to manage complex environments, effective communication, and the motivation to learn and adapt to various work styles.
You must be fluent in English and at least one local language, preferably Dutch. Knowledge of French would be a plus.
Work Environment
Expect a hybrid working arrangement, with 50% of the time spent onsite and the remaining 50% being remote.
