Security Architect

Function

We're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity and Business Continuity Consultant to join our client's team for a long-term consulting assignment within a critical infrastructure environment. This role combines strategic cybersecurity expertise with hands-on risk assessment, security architecture and regulatory compliance activities. You will contribute to strengthening the organisation's security and resilience capabilities, working closely with various stakeholders in a highly regulated and technically complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cybersecurity strategy and security architecture activities within the scope of the assignment.
• Perform and support risk assessments, including activities specific to critical infrastructure and railway environments.
• Support the implementation of security measures and initiatives related to NIS2 compliance.
• Provide expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Contribute to business continuity planning and the continuous improvement of organisational resilience.
• Advise stakeholders on cybersecurity, risk management and compliance-related matters.
• Ensure that security and resilience practices are aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders throughout the assignment.

Profile & Experience

• Master's degree in IT, Information Security or a related technology field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture and security-related consulting assignments.
• Demonstrable experience with NIS2 compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Strong expertise in IAM/PAM, PKI, risk assessment and business continuity management.
• At least 1 year of specific experience conducting risk assessments within the railway industry.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and security architecture within critical infrastructure environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex and highly regulated organisations.

Required Certifications

• ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.
• ISO/IEC 21500 Lead Implementer.
