Senior AI Enterprise Architect

Function

Our client is seeking a senior external consultant to support and help shape the future of its conversational AI capability. The assignment focuses on strengthening a Software Factory environment that enables, governs, and scales Copilot Studio solutions across the organization, while also contributing to the long-term direction of the platform and its ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for Copilot Studio and related Power Platform technologies.
• Help define the roadmap and strategic vision for the evolution of the Software Factory environment.
• Evaluate best practices, architectural patterns, governance models, and platform capabilities.
• Advise on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational excellence for conversational AI solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of complex Copilot Studio solutions.
• Guide teams on SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management practices.
• Collaborate with architects to translate strategic concepts into implementable solutions.
• Stay ahead of new product releases and platform enhancements, and identify adoption opportunities.
• Coach and mentor internal team members on Copilot Studio and Power Platform best practices.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and reusable implementation patterns.

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
• Proven experience designing and implementing conversational AI solutions.
• Experience defining platform strategy, governance, and architectural guidelines.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with GitHub and source control best practices.
• Strong Azure knowledge, including authentication, integrations, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and governance requirements.
