Function
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst who can identify and shape business needs and challenges from a user-focused perspective. You’ll play a crucial role in gathering requirements and crafting solutions for digital applications, making it essential to have a strong affinity and interest in IT and IT applications.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis (90% focus)
- Collect business information through meetings with stakeholders, literature reviews, and internal/external discussions.
- Prioritize and analyze upcoming needs, creating tailored solutions for specific workflows, and defining "as is" and "to be" states.
- Validate digital solutions developed by the technical team in an agile environment (sprints), acting as a product owner.
- Address business helpdesk inquiries to capture field needs directly.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quarterly using an established procedure.
- Build a network of business stakeholders, organizing ad hoc consultations to map out needs.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant seminars and events in the healthcare field to inform project decisions.
Communication and Training (10% focus)
- Draft communication materials in collaboration with stakeholders and present them to a designated workgroup for validation.
- Assist in developing training content for end-users in partnership with training organizations.
- Create presentations for training sessions, with visualizations supported by a communications expert.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Expertise
- Business Analysis
- At least 2 years of experience documenting business information after stakeholder consultations.
- Skilled in use case descriptions, process flows, and information flows.
- Experience documenting existing systems.
- Domain Knowledge
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape and the ability to identify its needs and challenges.
- Background in healthcare, supported by education, internships, or work experience.
- Experience in regulated sectors with a focus on digital healthcare workflows, including e-Health.
- General Skills
- Analytical and conceptual thinker, capable of designing workflows based on user interviews and meetings.
- Proven track record of working in goal-oriented environments with deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a project setting.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA for structuring and analyzing data is a plus.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Ability to draft clear, structured documents and proposals for working groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Education & Languages
- A master’s degree is required. A background in healthcare (e.g., as a physician, pharmacist, biomedical scientist, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Dutch for documentation and communication.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English for meetings and discussions.
