Senior Business Analyst ITSM

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced professional to support business analysis and process improvement activities within a complex ICT environment. The assignment involves working closely with stakeholders to analyse needs, improve processes, and contribute to the implementation and optimisation of IT service management and business process initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve business processes within an ICT context.
• Support IT Service Management and transformation initiatives, including process analysis, optimisation, requirements management, and the implementation or enhancement of ITSM processes and tooling.
• Work on the analysis and design of functional integrations between applications, including the use of integration components.
• Contribute to business process development and optimisation using BPM principles.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and align requirements.
• Coordinate test activities and follow up on testing progress.
• Support functional monitoring and logging activities where required.

Profile

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a business analyst.
• Strong background in general business operations applied to ICT.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of project management aspects such as cost, timing, coordination, planning, and estimation.
• Experience working in a government environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Experience in ITSM and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of business process modelling, preferably BPMN 2.0 or an equivalent internationally recognised standard.
• Experience with agile and Scrum software development methodologies is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Confluence and Jira is a plus.
• Experience with service design and user-centric design, including workshop facilitation, is a plus.

Practical Information

• Language requirement: fluent Dutch at CEFR level C2.
• Remote work is possible, subject to internal arrangements.
