Senior CRM IT Project Manager

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced IT project leader to drive complex CRM transformation initiatives within a broader multi-year digital transformation programme. This opportunity involves steering end-to-end delivery, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that CRM solutions align with business processes, enterprise architecture, and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead CRM projects from initiation through deployment and operational handover.
• Manage scope, planning, budget, quality, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate Salesforce specialists, IT and data teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
• Oversee CRM configuration, customisation, integration, and data migration activities.
• Ensure solution alignment with business processes and enterprise architecture principles.
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance, deployment, and transition into operational support.
• Manage dependencies with other applications, platforms, and transformation initiatives.
• Provide clear reporting, escalate issues in a timely manner, and work within programme governance.
• Anticipate delivery risks and propose practical corrective actions when needed.

Profile

• At least 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• At least 5 years of proven experience delivering Salesforce / CRM projects.
• Successful delivery of at least two significant Salesforce implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, CRM processes, and integration challenges.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and external implementation partners.
• Proven ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder, matrix organisations.
• Strong business and IT acumen.
• Public-sector experience is an asset.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Salesforce and Salesforce platform integration.
• Strong experience with CRM integration and data migration.
• Advanced knowledge of API, middleware, and systems integration.
• Advanced understanding of cloud environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced IT project management and risk management capabilities.
• ITIL knowledge is a plus.
• PMI or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Salesforce certification is a plus.

Practical Information

• Languages required: Dutch, English, and French.
• This is a long-term consulting opportunity.
