Senior Data Engineer Power BI

Function

We are currently recruiting a skilled Data Engineer to support our client in the development and optimization of modern data solutions and reporting environments. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality data insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Build and maintain reliable data flows and integrations across multiple systems and platforms.
• Develop and support reporting and visualization solutions using Power BI.
• Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing SSIS packages and related data infrastructure.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex data-driven environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
• Solid knowledge of ETL design and implementation methodologies.
• Experience with SSIS and data integration solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data engineering and automation purposes.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Language Requirement

• Native-level Dutch communication skills are required (European CEFR level C2).
