Function
We're looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to support our client in optimizing the flow, quality, and governance of data in a socially impactful environment. You'll be joining a multi-disciplinary agile team focused on building a robust and compliant data platform that serves the analytics needs of key national stakeholders in the healthcare and social security sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and translate data-related business requirements.
- Analyze and model operational and analytical data flows using conceptual and logical data models.
- Design and validate data architecture solutions in collaboration with data architects and BI technical leads.
- Define and maintain functional specifications, ensuring alignment with governance and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR).
- Lead user testing, documentation, training, and support throughout and after delivery of data products.
- Stay actively involved post-implementation to monitor product impact and identify improvements.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in data functional analysis.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and architecture within a data warehouse context, ideally using the Kimball methodology.
- Experience in designing data quality monitoring and data validation processes.
- Prior experience as a data engineer is an asset.
- Proficient in tools such as MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SAS, PowerBI, Azure, and Databricks.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French (B2+ minimum), with solid English skills.

Practical Details
