Function

We're looking for an experienced Machine Learning Consultant to help our client design and deliver a scalable, future-proof machine learning ecosystem. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with business insight, developing robust ML solutions that support strategic decision-making while building a sustainable framework for future AI initiatives. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and play an active role in promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Consultant, you will:

• Design and implement a modular and scalable machine learning framework that supports the full model lifecycle.
• Establish best practices for data preprocessing, model training, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, feedback loops, and model retraining processes to ensure long-term performance and reliability.
• Manage model versioning and reproducibility while preparing the technical environment for future cloud migration.
• Document methodologies and technical processes, coach team members, and share knowledge across the organisation.
• Present technical findings and project outcomes in a clear and accessible way to business stakeholders.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong machine learning expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You bring:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end machine learning solutions.
• The ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions using an iterative development approach.
• Experience in data sourcing, data preparation, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and feature engineering.
• Strong knowledge of algorithm selection, predictive model development, model evaluation, optimisation, and automation.
• Experience with model monitoring, performance improvement, and the visualisation of analytical results for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to the growth of a data-driven culture.
