About the Role

For a long-term project with a leading organization, we are looking for a Senior Deployment Engineer with a strong background in Networking, Security, or Infrastructure Engineering.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the technical delivery of projects from build and implementation to a smooth handover to operations. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between design and production, ensuring that all components are properly built, tested, documented, and ready for operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Delivery

• Take end-to-end ownership of deployments, including configuration, validation, and quality control of infrastructure, network, or security components
• Ensure implementations align with architecture standards, technical guidelines, and security baselines

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Produce clear and complete technical documentation, including:
  • Build documentation
  • Technical designs
  • Runbooks
  • Handover logs
• Provide high-quality knowledge transfer sessions to L2/L3 Run Engineers to ensure smooth operational takeover

Hypercare & L3 Support

• Act as L3 expert during hypercare for critical (P0/P1) incidents on delivered solutions
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams
• Ensure system stability after go-live

Quality Assurance

• Guarantee that deployments comply with internal standards, change procedures, and security guidelines
• Execute validation and integration testing to confirm alignment with design specifications

Your Profile

• 5–7+ years of experience as a Deployment Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer in medium to large environments
• Proven experience with deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and validation testing
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills (build-to-run documentation, handovers)
• Hands-on expertise in at least one of the following domains:
  • Networking (LAN/WAN, routing & switching, firewalls)
  • Security Engineering
  • Cloud & Infrastructure (Azure/AWS, compute, storage, identity, automation)
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a strong plus

Certifications (at least one required)

• CCNP (Routing & Switching or Security)
• Azure or AWS Associate certification
• ITIL Foundation
