We're on the lookout for a seasoned Financial Analyst to join our client's finance team. This role offers an incredible opportunity to engage deeply with various business units and contribute to the financial and operational growth of the organization.

Role Overview:

  • Provide extensive financial controlling support across local business units.
  • Conduct detailed financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closings.
  • Offer operational and industrial costing oversight as well as manage both operating and capital expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, quarterly landings, and rolling forecasts.
    • Execute monthly financial closings, including activity and expense reviews.
    • Deliver monthly reports explaining variances from budgets and forecasts.
  • Project and Cost Control:
    • Oversee the approval, tracking, and financial management of projects.
    • Ensure compliance with standard costing methods and monitor manufacturing performance.
    • Manage operational expenses (Opex) and headcount forecasts in collaboration with Finance Business Partners and Budget Owners.
  • Compliance and Improvement:
    • Enforce adherence to SOX controls and internal financial policies.
    • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and promote best practice sharing across regions.
    • Educate and guide business owners on financial compliance and procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, V-lookups, and macros.
    • Experience with financial modeling and systems such as TM1 and SAP.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence decisions across multiple business levels.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
    • Effective communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and strategic thinking.
  • Other qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical accounting.
