Senior Full Stack Java Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our client’s team. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative software solutions that are used internationally. Responsibilities

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Design and develop Java applications for embedded systems.

• Lead by example and mentor junior developers.

• Take ownership of one or more projects in collaboration with motivated colleagues.

• Integrate multiple applications on Linux filesystems, ensuring seamless system behavior.

• Work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Docker, Linux, Debian Packaging, Python, and Networking.

Examples of impactful work include:

• Infotainment systems that can be upgraded in high-speed transport environments.

• Synchronization of audio and screen content across devices.

• Systems that dynamically adjust based on external factors such as routes or schedules

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

Our client is seeking someone with the following background:

• 5+ years of professional Java experience (including Spring Boot and Quarkus).

• Solid expertise in Linux, Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of network protocols (UDP/TCP) and network behaviors (broadcast, multicast, unicast).

• A coaching mindset with a passion for software quality.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Language requirements: English and Dutch.
