Functional ICT Analyst – Join Our Client’s Team

We’re looking for a seasoned Functional ICT Analyst to join our client’s team and act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will translate operational needs into clear functional solutions, ensuring alignment across all phases of delivery while contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Functional ICT Analyst, you will play a central role throughout the project lifecycle:

• Gather, analyze, and clarify business and user requirements

• Translate needs into structured functional specifications, use cases, and process models

• Act as the bridge between business teams and developers, ensuring mutual understanding

• Support and guide development teams during implementation phases

• Participate actively in testing activities, including integration testing and UAT

• Ensure delivered solutions fully meet defined requirements and quality standards

• Provide user support and contribute to ongoing optimization of tools and functionalities

Profile & Expertise

Our client is seeking a professional with strong analytical and communication capabilities, combined with deep technical experience:

• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deliver structured solutions

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between business and IT

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and user-oriented mindset

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities under pressure

• Team-oriented approach, working closely with developers, testers, and end users

Technical expertise:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Enterprise Architect and Azure DevOps

• At least 10 years of experience in:

  • Functional analysis documentation (use cases, processes, specifications)

  • UML modeling

  • Information systems, data flows, and application architecture principles

  • Testing methodologies, especially integration testing and User Acceptance Testing

Additional Requirements

• Strong understanding of complex IT environments and the challenges of large-scale organizations

• Ability to integrate into a collaborative environment with professionalism, reliability, and a positive mindset

• Solid presentation skills and a structured, respectful communication style

• Languages:

  • English (B2 or higher)

  • Dutch and/or French (C1 level required)
