Senior Functional Analyst

We're looking for a highly skilled professional to become a part of our client's team, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing functionality and delivering impactful solutions. Our client, a leading entity in their sector, is focused on creating innovative tools that streamline processes and improve overall experiences for their stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a crucial member of the product team, you will engage with various stakeholders and hold end-to-end responsibility for user stories. Your role will include:

• Transforming EPICs into user stories, leading the user story mapping and prioritization processes.
• Collaborating with the product manager to write and validate user stories.
• Working with the development team on user story refinement and ensuring the developed products meet established acceptance criteria.

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, with at least 7 years in functional analysis and a minimum of 2 years in a senior role. You should demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Rest API, Swagger, and event-driven architecture.
• Recent experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Confluence, UML, and the ability to create wireframes using Figma.
• Intermediate knowledge of Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), MS SQL Server, and UX Design.

Soft Skills

In addition to your technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to:

• Drive constructive discussions respectfully and explain complex topics simply.
• Create a sense of urgency while fostering an open work atmosphere.
• Be assertive, results-driven, and remain a true team player.
• Demonstrate flexibility while dealing with task switches and interruptions.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English is required, or French and English, with good comprehension of the other language.

Work Environment: The position is based in Brussels, with a hybrid work model allowing 40% office presence on designated days and 60% remote work.
