Senior Functional Analyst

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's dynamic team, where you'll play an essential role in enhancing processes impacting individuals with disabilities. This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an ambitious initiative focused on modernizing their applications and ensuring equitable access to services. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping define and translate business needs into functional requirements within an Agile environment.

You will work within a collaborative Scrum team to bridge the gap between business and development, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding and analyzing the operational challenges, processes, and regulations surrounding social welfare.
• Translating strategic objectives into actionable functionalities for development teams.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Business Coaches to articulate business requirements, leading to well-defined initiatives.
• Creating and managing the backlog in coordination with the Scrum Master to prioritize and plan sprints effectively.
• Conducting functional and technical testing to ensure accurate implementation and integration with existing systems.
• Maintaining open lines of communication to address any potential blockers and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a rich blend of skills and experience, particularly in social security systems or similar governmental contexts. Specific requirements include:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years in a functional analyst role or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Experience working on government-related projects for at least 5 years.
• Strong proficiency in requirement analysis and modeling tools, specifically PMP/CMMN/DMN for a minimum of 3 years.
• Demonstrated expertise in Confluence, Jira, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Postman.

Fluency in the following languages is essential:

• Dutch: reading, speaking, and writing
• English: reading, speaking, and understanding
• French: reading and understanding
