Function
We're looking for a professional to join our client's team and contribute to delivering exceptional IT support. This key role focuses on managing user-reported IT issues and ensuring optimal operation of workstations and peripheral devices. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing the efficiency of information technology resources for end-users.
Responsibilities and Role
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Logging, assigning, analyzing, and resolving IT issues to provide support for end-users.
- Installing, maintaining, and replacing workstations and peripherals to ensure users have functioning devices.
- Installing and customizing system software and end-user applications to meet specific user needs.
- Managing inventory of spare equipment and hardware components for prompt hardware issue resolution.
- Recommending new hardware and software based on business needs to ensure the availability of modern IT tools for end-users.
- Formulating proposals for ongoing improvements to enhance support and IT tools.
- Maintaining accurate inventory and documentation of workstations and peripherals.
Profile and Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a helpdesk or service desk role (senior profile).
- Practical knowledge of ITIL, with experience in ITSM tools being essential.
- Basic understanding of IT security and awareness of security risks.
- Experience in application support and resolving user issues across diverse applications.
